The symbol of the Jesse Tree to illustrate Samuels story is the crown. Samuel, son of Elksnah,was repeatedly called by God. When at last he heard the Lord's call, he adhered to it without fail and proclaimed the coming of Christ the King who would have dominion over all earthly kings.
